Report: Hoffenheim set price for David Raum

Per Kicker, the club is looking for a fee in the range of €40 million for the left-back's services.
The talented 24-year-old turned heads during his first season in Germany's top flight. David Raum made a free switch from Greuther Fürth to Hoffenheim last summer, and has exploded ever since. Raum was one of the most dangerous players going forward as he tallied 3 goals and 13 assists last season. Now, Hoffenheim is looking for €40 million in case Raum were to leave.

He's been linked with Premier League sides Newcastle United and West Ham, while Dortmund is the only Bundesliga club that has shown serious interest. Raum was so good last year that he agreed to a contract extension in January, just 6 months after his arrival. Raum's new deal expires in 2026.

Hoffenheim could hold onto the German international's services for another season, as they push for a return to European football. However if this price tag is met, Raum could be on his way out the door.
