Reports: Bayern line up Alvarez as Muani alternative

Multiple reports claim that Bayern Munich are monitoring Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez.

Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on Julian Alvarez, according to Sport Bild and Sky Germany.

The German champions, who are looking to sign a new striker this summer, have apparently identified the Argentina international as an alternative to Eintracht Frankfurt's Kolo Muani.

Alvarez has struggled for a starting berth at Manchester City, with Erling Haaland ahead of him in the pecking order.

As a result, the striker's future at the Etihad Stadium is said to be uncertain, even though his contract runs until 2028.
