Co-hosts Canada face 2018 hosts Qatar in Group B at the 2026 World Cup. Both national teams are yet to test a victory at this stage, but they came from behind to avoid defeats to Bosnia & Herzegovina and Switzerland, respectively, on matchday one.

Alphonso Davies was unavailable for the opening fixture, but former RB Leipzig coach Jesse Marsch hinted at a cameo appearance today for FC Bayern's left-back. Following another injury-riddled campaign for the 25-year-old, the Rekordmeister are set to sign German international Nathaniel Brown from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Marsch made two changes from the team that started against Bosnia as Ali Ahmed and goal-getter Cyle Larin returns to XI. Qatar's coach Julen Lopetegui has decided to go with the same XI from the draw against Switzerland.
