South Korea and South Africa face off in the last matchday of Group A as they both eye qualification to the Round of 32. Hong Myung-bo’s side will guarantee a second-placed finish with a draw, while their opponents should push for three points.

FC Bayern’s fringe center-back Kim Min-jae is once again in the starting lineup for South Korea. However, Mainz’s Lee Jae-sung is dropped to the substitute bench, alongside the captain and former Bundesliga star Son Heung-min. German-born Gladbach midfielder Jens Castrop is still waiting for his World Cup debut.

As for South Africa, Hugo Broos keeps Hannover’s Ime Okon in the starting lineup. The center-back made his full Bafana Bafana debut in the opening match of the tournament against co-hosts Mexico.
