Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has confirmed Patric Pfeiffer's transfer to SV Darmstadt.

A full agreement has been reached with FC Augsburg regarding the permanent transfer as Pfeiffer prepares to join the Hessen club.

The 25-year-old completed his medical successfully and subsequently pens a deal at the 2.Bundesliga side until 2029.

It is also reported that Die Fuggerstadters will pocket around €700,000 including add-ons, as they bid farewell to the defender.

Pfeiffer, who already made 80 appearances for Die Lilien between 2019 and 2023, returns for a second stint at the Böllenfalltor.

All in all, the German only lined out for Augsburg on 11 occasions before loan spells at BSC Young Boys and 1.FC Magdeburg.
