With Deniz Undav’s contract running until 2027, VfB Stuttgart are determined not to let the striker enter the final year of his deal.

To clarify the striker’s future, the Bundesliga side have scheduled talks with his agency during the upcoming international break, according to Sport Bild.

If an agreement on a new deal can't be reached, Stuttgart could opt to cash in on Undav in the summer, avoiding the risk of losing him for free in 2027.

Undav has likely only strengthened his negotiating position with his impressive form in 2026.

The 29-year-old striker is already one of Stuttgart’s top earners, earning an annual salary of around €4.5 million.

He initially joined Stuttgart on a loan deal from Brighton & Hove Albion, which was made permanent in the summer of 2024.
