After a comprehensive 3-0 win over Heidenheim, head coach of Eintracht Frankfurt Dino Toppmöller spoke to the media and reflected on his side's victory.

"The win was deserved. In the first ten minutes, both teams were aggressive in the duels, but we weren't clean enough.

"There were several ping-pong moments, one of which we took advantage of to make it 1-0. We deserved to take the lead. Apart from one situation following a corner, we had everything under control in the first half, and the lads also performed well in the context of the away game on Thursday.

"After the half-time break, we had problems adjusting; it took a while for us to adapt. After Heidenheim's great chance to pull one back, we had everything under control again and could have scored a few more goals – Heidenheim could have scored too.

"We're very happy to take this win. It's about approaching every match as if it were a final. That's easier said than done. Some players have played a lot of matches, especially the internationals.

“We took the game really well; that's always the first step. We've worked extremely hard all season to get into this position,” said Toppmöller.
