SV Tiefenbach chairman shares excitement over Niklas Süle signing

Niklas Süle joined amateur club SV Tiefenbach at the end of his illustrious professional career. The chairman of the club has now told BILD the magnitude of his arrival at the Baden-Württemberg district league club.
“It’s incredible, phenomenal. There are no expressions for what happened. We are a small, down-to-earth club and now a world star is coming here. For us, that's absolutely crazy," said Jürgen Bloch.
The euphoric chairman said he felt "goose bumps, palpitations and sweating" when the transfer was first announced. The head coach Jason Walzel, who has been close friends with the former Germany international for years, played a key role in convincing the defender.
The initial talks were made when Süle was on a post-season holiday in Ireland. "I am very happy to finally experience football from a completely different angle after 13 years of professional football. It will only be about the sport itself and not about business or money.” the five-time Bundesliga winner told Sky Sports when he completed his move at the beginning of the month.
