VfL Wolfsburg head coach Daniel Bauer will have to do without defenders Jenson Seelt and Cleiton for the foreseeable future.

Dutch center-back Seelt, who missed the training camp due to illness, has suffered a right knee injury.

The news comes as a blow for the 22-year-old and the Lower Saxony club having played 9 games in the Bundesliga this season.

Meanwhile, Brazilian newcomer Cleiton has been sidelined after he sustained an injury to his left ankle.

As it stands, neither will be available for Wolfsburg's trip to 1.FC Köln this Friday and potentially further games to follow.

Cleiton's compatriot Rogerio remains in his home country for rehabilitation after his knee surgery at the end of October last year.
