Multiple reports claim Werder Bremen are on the verge of completing a deal for 19-year-old forward Kenny Quetant from French side AC Le Havre.

According to Bild, Sky Germany and German journalist Christoph Michel, Werder are closing in on the signing of the young striker.

Bild reports that Quetant is expected to sign a four-year contract with the Green-Whites once the season is over.

SC Freiburg have previously been seen as the frontrunners for the 19-year-old, but Werder now appear to have moved ahead of their Bundesliga rivals in the race for his signature.

The forward's contract with Le Havre expires this summer, meaning he is available on a free transfer.
