Daniel Bauer has confirmed that VfL Wolfsburg will be without the in-form Dženan Pejčinović for their game against 1.FC Heidenheim.

“We have a significant loss tomorrow: Dzenan will be unavailable,” the Lower Saxony club's coach said in his press conference today.

"He's had a minor foot problem since the last match, but he persevered and scored the winning goal.

“Now we need to examine him further and hope he won't be out for too long,” said Bauer, of the 20-year-old marksman.

However, a worthy replacement is waiting in the wings for the injury-stricken forward who has scored 5 goals in his last 3 outings.

“Mo Amoura will return to the starting lineup. He was already a candidate, but with Dzenan's absence, he'll now play in the number nine position,” Bauer added.
