The 22-year-old striker spent last season on loan at Elversberg, where he registered a sensational 18 goals and eight assists as the club soared towards the promotion/relegation play-off.
He also provided a goal and an assist in the eventual two-legged loss against Heidenheim.
Sky Sports report that a deal is almost done to extend the promising youngster's contract beyond 2026.
After a disappointing 2024/25 term for Die Kreichgauer, Asllani could be set for a significant role in Sinsheim as the club looks to shake things up ahead of next term.
