Alphonso Davies: "I will be 100% for the World Cup"

Bayern Munich and Canada star Alphonso Davies has given an update on the injury he picked up against Hertha, saying he will be "100% for the World Cup".
Alphonso Davies has promised he will be fully fit for the World Cup despite picking up an injury in Bayern Munich's 3-2 win over Hertha BSC last Saturday.

"The doctors told me that I will be fine in two weeks," the Canadian international said in a media call on Sunday, according to Transfermarkt.

"I still have a little bit of pain, but overall, I feel good, and I will be 100% for the World Cup.

"There were a lot of games at the beginning of the season before the World Cup. You try to prepare yourself for all these back-to-back games.

"But sometimes your body just responds, we are all humans, and sometimes we get tired and tweak a muscle or something," Davies explained.
