Kicker Report: Leverkusen could snap up Malian fullback on a free
Germany's preeminent footballing publication reports that Bayer 04 Leverkusen are interested in snapping up Malian fullback Hamari Traoré this summer on a free.
With an estimated market worth of €10 million, Stade Rennais fullback Hamari Traoré could constitute a good steal on a free transfer this coming offseason. Germany's Kicker magazine reports that Germany's red company team have some interest in the 31-year-old as part of their summer restock.
The 44-times-capped Malian international has been with Stade Rennes since the beginning of the 2017/18 campaign. His estimated market worth remains at a career high after a pair of good seasons for the Ligue 1 outfit. The former Paris FC and Stade Reims player has made 31 appearances for Rennes this season across all competitions, scoring one goal and contributing two assists.
Leverkusen will likely continue to be on the market for additional assistance on the right-hand-side ahead of the coming year, looking for as many trained fullbacks and wingbacks as possible should - as is expected - Jeremie Frimpong depart the club. Bayer have already signed Brazilian right-back "Arthur" as a potential Frimpong replacement.
