RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann says he's not interested in taking over as Germany coach from Joachim Löw when the 61-year-old steps back after this year's European Championship.

"I definitely want to remain a club coach for the next years," Nagelsmann told reporters ahead of RB Leipzig's Champions League clash with Liverpool on Wednesday.

"Sure, it's an honor for any coach to be at the reins of a very successful football country. But for me, currently and in the next years, it's not an option."

Nagelsmann, 33, joined RB Leipzig from Hoffenheim in 2019. His contract with 'Die Roten Bullen' still runs for another two years.
