After weeks of negotiations with VfB Stuttgart over a potential contract extension beyond 2027, Deniz Undav has reportedly now given his club a clear deadline.

According to Bild, Undav wants clarity at the latest by next Tuesday, before he heads to the United States with the German national team for the World Cup.

If no agreement is reached by June 2, negotiations will be paused, with the striker determined to focus fully on the World Cup, the report claims.

It was recently reported that Stuttgart would submit a new and improved contract offer to the striker this week.

Undav is coming off an impressive 2025/26 campaign, which saw him score 25 goals and provide 14 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions for the Bundesliga club.
