Union Berlin apparently have versatile Cote d'Ivoire attacker Christian Kouamé on their radar. Italian transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio reports that the Köpenickers are interested in picking up the 30-times-capped Ivorian international, who is entering the final year of his contract with Serie A side ACF Fiorentina. A reasonable price could be negotiated given the player's decline in form.

Kouamé collected three scorer points (two goals and one assist) in 23 league appearances for club last season. He also featured in four of Cote d'Ivoire's seven tournament fixtures en route to the 2023 AFCON title, though he did not necessarily have the strongest competition. The 26-year-old's estimated market worth has declined from €13 million to €7.5 million in the last two years.
