16-year-old Hertha BSC prodigy Kennet Eichhorn has been linked with a host of top European clubs, including Bayern Munich.
However, according to Sport1, Bayern Munich have decided to end their pursuit of the highly rated central midfielder.
The report claims that Bayern consider Eichhorn too expensive, while there are also concerns that signing the youngster could lead to unrest within the club’s youth academy.
It has been suggested that the 16-year-old has a release clause in the region of €10-12 million in his Hertha contract.
The central midfielder is currently focusing on getting back to full fitness following an ankle injury.
