Confirmed Lineups: Borussia Mönchengladbach vs. VfB Stuttgart

Borussia Mönchengladbach host VfB Stuttgart in the battle of two former Bundesliga winners on Sunday evening. Gladbach recorded a 4-0 win over Augsburg, who just beat Bayern at Allianz Arena, in their last home game. However, that’s their only victory from the last five Bundesliga encounters.
On the contrary, Stuttgart are unbeaten in the last five in the league. Nonetheless, Sebastian Hoeneß’s side are wounded after a disappointing home draw with Union Berlin and a defeat in the Europa League against AS Roma.
With another Thursday night fixture awaiting them next week, Hoeneß makes some changes to deal with the fixture congestion. Badredine Bouanani gets a rare start, while Ermedin Demirovic starts ahead of Deniz Undav up front. Tottenham Hotspur loanee Koko Takai starts for the first time for Gladbach after coming off the bench in the last three games.
