Dortmund to close window without signings

After Filippo Mané suffered an injury on Sunday, Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl opened up the possibility of bringing in a replacement before the transfer window closes later on Monday.

However, Kehl has now made it clear that the club has decided against any further additions.

“We trust the squad and, after internal discussions, we decided that we won’t make any further moves in that position,” Kehl was quoted as saying by Sky Germany.

“There will be no further signings at Borussia Dortmund.”

The Black and Yellows have not brought in a single player during the winter transfer window.
