VfB Stuttgart are planning to present a new and improved contract offer to Deniz Undav this week, according to Sky Germany.

The report claims the 29-year-old will be offered a deal until 2029 worth more than €20 million in total, including salary, bonuses and a signing fee.

The club and the player’s camp have been in negotiations over the past few weeks and have made progress, but no final agreement has yet been reached.

Stuttgart’s aim is to finalise the contract extension before the World Cup begins on June 11, with Undav set to travel with the German national team.

Undav is coming off an impressive 2025/26 campaign, which saw him score 25 goals and provide 14 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions for the Bundesliga club.
