Rasmus Nissen Kristensen is set for a spell on the sidelines after being forced off in Eintracht Frankfurt’s 3–1 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen on Friday.

Eintracht Frankfurt confirmed on Sunday that the Danish defender suffered a muscle injury during the match.

The 28-year-old will be unavailable to head coach Dino Toppmöller “until further notice,” the Bundesliga club added.

Nathaniel Brown came on to replace Kristensen just 10 minutes into Friday’s game.

The Danish right-back has started all four of Eintracht’s games so far this season.
