VfB Stuttgart have placed the weight of expectation on Bilal El Khannouss to improve his performances next season.
According to AbsolutFußball, the club's management was not satisfied with the Moroccan's second half of last season.
Prior to the winter break, El Khannouss offered 6 goals and 4 assists in 20 games, but managed only 2 goals and 4 assists thereafter.
However, the Baden-Württemberg side do not intend to let El Khannouss go this summer, contrary to other rumours.
The attacking midfielder recently made headlines with a change of agent; his new agency is reportedly exploring the market.
The 22-year-old wants to take the next step in his career, but VfB Stuttgart signed El Khannouss to a contract until 2030.
