In a rather surprising twist, VfB Stuttgart midfielder Enzo Millot is reportedly moving to Saudi Arabia.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Al Ahli have reached a full agreement to sign the Frenchman.

The 23-year-old’s contract includes a release clause of a reported €18 million, but according to Sky Germany, Stuttgart will receive at least €28 million for Millot, as the clause does not apply to Saudi Arabian clubs.

Al Ahli's German coach, Matthias Jaissle, has most likely played a key role in the Saudi side's successful bid to sign Millot ahead of clubs such as Atletico Madrid and Tottenham.

Millot scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 43 games for the Swabians last season.
