Eintracht Frankfurt right-back Elias Baum is preparing for a move away in January, as per reports from Sky Sports' Florian Plettenberg.
The 20-year-old was eyed by multiple Bundesliga clubs over the summer, after making 33 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga for Elversberg last term.
It was confirmed this morning that Baum will be sidelined until further notice after suffering a ligament injury against Hamburg over the weekend, which could have an impact on the speed of a move.
Nonetheless, Sky Sports reports that a move could be on the cards over the winter, with Heidenheim interested as they aim to secure survival once again.
It is currently unclear as to whether a deal would be done on a permanent or temporary basis.
