According to Sport BILD, Borussia Dortmund plans to open contract extension negotiations with three key players very soon.

Julian Ryerson, currently with his national team at the World Cup, boosted his market value last season with 15 assists in the Bundesliga.

The club's management would like to discuss a contract extension with the 28-year-old beyond 2028 this coming autumn.

BVB's management would also like to discuss extending fellow defender Waldemar Anton's deal to keep him at the club long term.

According to the report, Anton is seen as "an essential part of the future" and is expected to extend his stay prematurely.

Talks about an extension until 2030 are reportedly planned immediately after the World Cup, despite interest from Manchester United.

Finally, Gregor Kobel enjoys a similarly high standing at the Westphalians and is under contract until 2028.

Furthermore, the Swiss international is even internally ranked as "one of the best goalkeepers in Europe."

Accordingly, Borussia Dortmund would contact him towards the end of the year to discuss a contract extension with the 28-year-old.

That will only happen, however, if no club comes forward with a good offer during the current transfer window.
