Speaking to Spurs TV during the week, Heung-Min Son was full of praise for his ex-teammate Harry Kane winning the Bundesliga.

The Korean, who once represented Hamburger SV and Bayer Leverkusen, stated he was delighted to see the Englishman lift the Meisterschale.

"Yeah, obviously we are still good friends and best mates. I called him and texted him [to offer my congratulations] and to be fair he just FaceTime me.

"He was very happy. I'm just happy to see him smiling and lift the trophy that he deserved more than anyone else.

“It was a fantastic moment for him and I hope there's many more to come,” Son added.

The 32-year-old winger, who played with Kane at Tottenham between 2015 and 2023, believes he ought to pick up more silverware in his career.

"I think one is not good enough for Harry, and with the quality and ability he has he deserves more.

It's not only because I'm friends with him, it's because the way he sacrifices and works. I want to congratulate him again here and as a friend," he explained.
