Kompany: "We didn't really play a bad game"

Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany was reluctant to label his side's performance as poor in their 2-2 draw today, but he was critical of their precision.
“We didn't do enough in the first half, we were 1,2,3 steps too late, we lost the second ball many times," he said in his press conference.
"We knew set pieces were Union's biggest strength, it was about details. From the 30th minute onwards, I can't say that it was a bad performance.
"It was difficult, but that's what we expected here. We didn't really play a bad game, but I have to say that the opponent did many things right.
“In the grand scheme of things, there were some positives to take from today. Leipzig lost. And the way we came back to secure the point, that's part of a season," he added.
The Belgian also singled out Luis Díaz for praise after the Colombian winger bagged a vital goal just before the interval.
“We really needed that moment of brilliance from Lucho. Of course he could've scored another goal afterwards.
“But the quality we have in this team is what we need to achieve our goals during the season. That's three goals he's scored this week, that was good for him,” he added.
