Report: Gladbach's Herrmann nearing move to Stuttgart

Borussia Mönchengladbach winger Patrick Herrmann is said to be close to a move to VfB Stuttgart.
VfB Stuttgart could sign Borussia Mönchengladbach winger Patrick Herrmann in January, Bild reports.

According to the German media outlet, the negotiations between the parties are at a very advanced stage.

Stuttgart are eager to reinforce the squad in the fight against relegation and are said to be interested in signing an offensive midfielder and a winger during the winter transfer market.

Herrmann hasn't been involved in Gladbach's last five Bundesliga games, and the winger has just been in the starting eleven twice in league so far this season.

The 27-year-old has also been linked with Southampton with the former RB Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhüttl said to be interested in bringing him to St. Mary's.
