Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter expects to be back in full training within two weeks, according to Kicker.

The 25-year-old is making good progress in his recovery from the shoulder injury he suffered in Gladbach's 5-1 win over Augsburg on October 6.

"It could have been much worse," Ginter said in an interview with Kicker.

Saturday's away game at Dortmund definitely comes too soon for Ginter, and the 25-year-old admits he is a bit frustrated that he won't be able to play at Signal Iduna Park.

"It's always very annoying to miss games because of an injury, and it's three or four percent more annoying if it's a big game in the Bundesliga. But we have a good team that could take something from the game in Dortmund," Ginter said.

Ginter and Gladbach sit top of the Bundeslig after the first seven games of the season.
