Timo Werner is said to have attracted the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea with his excellent performances for RB Leipzig during the 2019/20 campaign.

And the 24-year-old, who has netted 27 times in 35 games this season, is confident he would be capable of taking the next step to a bigger club.

"I think that I have the potential and possibilities to play for a big team," the RB Leipzig striker told Sky and added:

"I just think there are different procedures [at a big club]. When you say that you must become champions, you must go far in the Champions League, and when you must win the cup.

"When you use the word 'must', the pressure is completely different and much greater," Werner said.

Werner is aware that there is still room for improvement for him, though.

"I still have to learn to be 100 percent there every game and to know that every game is about winning the championship in the end," the German international said.
