Yannick Gerhardt, VfL Wolfsburg - 8.3M
VfL Wolfsburg have had a surprisingly strong start to the season, taking wins against Schalke 04 (2-1) and Bayer Leverkusen (3-1). Now, 'Die Wölfe' will look to continue their good form, and looking at the fixtures, they have a good chance of doing so. Three out of their four upcoming fixures are home games, and Hertha, Freiburg, Mainz and Gladbach are all manageable opponents.

It would make sense to pick more than one Wolfsburg player, but if we are to suggest one, it's Yannick Gerhardt. After Josuha Guilavogui's injury, Gerhardt is a regular starter in central midfield, and priced at just 8.3M and listed as a defender, he looks like a steal. In the win over Bayer Leverkusen, the 24-year-old showed he can be a danger in front of goal after his shot was deflected into the net by Ramazan Özcan. If you're looking at other Wolfsburg players, Jerome Roussillon (8.2M) and Renato Steffen (8.1M) are also solid options.

Ondrej Duda, Hertha BSC - 6.4M
The midfielder stole the show and netted twice in the 2-0 win over Schalke 04 - one of the goals via a fantastic free-kick - and after having his two first seasons in Berlin ruined by injuries and low confidence, he could finally make his breakthrough this season. Duda is priced at just 6.4M, and it could be worth giving him a shot in your team with fixtures against Wolfsburg, Gladbach and Werder Bremen coming up.

Milos Veljkovic, Werder Bremen - 7.8M
Werder Bremen took their first win of the season against Eintracht Frankfurt in matchday two, and now have some pretty tasty fixtures coming up (Nürnberg, Augsburg, Hertha, Stuttgart, Wolfsburg). Milos Veljkovic, who costs just 7.8M, has started in the central defense in both the first two rounds and could be brought in with the prospect of clean sheets and wins. If you have a little more to spend, you should consider Ludwig Augustinsson (10.8M), who offers a bigger offensive threat from defense, and Davy Klaassen (10.9M) who could provide both assists and goals from his midfield position.
