Nottingham Forest close to signing Gladbach's Luca Netz

According to Sky Sports, Nottingham Forest are closing in on an agreement to sign Luca Netz from Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Luca Netz is said to be on the verge of a move to the English Premier League.

According to Sky Sports, Nottingham Forest are nearing a deal to sign the 22-year-old for around €2.4 million.

Earlier on Monday, Kicker reported that Gladbach had received a €2.5 million offer for Netz from an unnamed Premier League club.

With the left-back’s contract set to expire this summer, this represents Borussia’s last opportunity to secure a fee.

Netz joined Gladbach from Hertha BSC in 2021 for a reported €2 million.

Since then, he has made 124 appearances for the Bundesliga club, scoring three goals and providing 18 assists.

Update (16:24 CET): According to Sky Germany, Nottingham Forest and Borussia Mönchengladbach have agreed a €2.5 million deal for Netz, including realistic performance-related add-ons and a sell-on clause.
