After previously being linked with a move for Said El Mala, Brighton & Hove Albion have now seemingly shifted their attention to another key attacking player for 1. FC Köln.

According to Sport Bild, Brighton are weighing up a move for Jakub Kaminski, who caught their eye while they were scouting El Mala.

Kamiński is said to be open to a move to Brighton, with his representatives currently discussing the terms of a potential transfer to England.

The versatile Polish attacker can leave via a €20 million release clause, but it must be activated before mid-July, according to the report.

Köln paid a reported €5.5 million to make Kamiński’s loan from VfL Wolfsburg permanent following the 2025/26 season, in which he scored seven goals and provided five assists in 36 appearances.
