Official: Jonjoe Kenny snubs German clubs to join PAOK Thessaloniki

Die Alte Dame loses one of its long serving full-backs to the Greek club.

Jonjoe Kenny is leaving Hertha BSC on a free transfer and joining PAOK Thessaloniki, the Berlin club has confirmed.

The right-back signed a contract with the Greek club until June 30, 2028, with an option for a further year.

PAOK fended off interest from 1.FC Köln, Werder Bremen, and Sheffield United, among others, in the race for Kenny.

PAOK, in addition to their upcoming Europa League qualifiers, particularly impressed with a significantly better salary offer.

According to BILD, Kenny's net income will now exceed his Hertha gross salary – both in the 2nd division (€1 million per season) and previously in the Bundesliga (€1.4 million).
