According to a couple of Italian media reports, VfB Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen could rival Borussia Dortmund for Matías Soulé.

The Gazzetta dello Sport writes that Stuttgart is showing interest in the 23-year-old who currently plies his trade at AS Roma.

Soulé could be an alternative to Bilal El Khannouss at Stuttgart, who has recently been rumored to be considering a move.

Meanwhile, the Corriere dello Sport includes fellow Bundesliga outfit Leverkusen in the hunt for the Argentine attacker.

Roma would reportedly let the attacking player go for around €40 million, with a release clause of €25-30 million likely to expire on 30 June.

The Romans are particularly hoping for interest from financially powerful Saudi Arabian clubs, like Al Ahli and Al Ittihad have Soulé shortlisted.
