On Thursday, it was widely reported that Bayern Munich had agreed personal terms with Stuttgart’s star forward Nick Woltemade on a contract until 2030.
The striker has reportedly told Stuttgart that he only wants to join Bayern - yet it remains uncertain whether the two clubs can agree a deal, as the Swabians are determined to hold on to their key player.
According to both Kicker and Stuttgarter Nachrichten, Stuttgart now want a triple-digit million fee - meaning at least €100 million - to let Woltemade leave.
Bayern, on the other hand, had hoped to settle on a transfer fee around €50 million, indicating difficult negotiations ahead.
