Online media Absolut Fußball is reportedly aware of Eintracht Frankfurt's plans for a big summer clear out.

A handful of players look set to leave the Hessen club to create space for signings, with Igor Matanovic heavily linked with SC Freiburg.

Returning loan players could also face the chop - Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri suggests Nacho Ferri is set to leave for KVC Westerlo.

Hrvoje Smolcic also no longer has a future at the Deutsche-Bank Park with Turkish club Kocaelispor vying for a quick deal.

Eintracht Frankfurt's competition, including Robin Koch, Arthur Theate, Tuta, Nnamdi Collins, and Aurèle Amenda is too strong.

Sporting director Markus Krösche is keen to offload Aurelio Buta who is not expected to travel to the USA training camp, which begins on July 22nd.

A host of other personnel up for sale include Junior Dina Ebimbe, Niels Nkounkou, Mo Dahoud, and Jessic Ngankam.

With Jonathan Burkardt arriving, and huge interest in Ritsu Dōan, room will be plentiful in Die Adler's ranks.
