Joshua Kimmich has played alongside some brilliant Bayern Munich teammates as he approaches the 10-year mark with the club.

From Arjen Robben and Robert Lewandowski to Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller – the midfielder has graced the pitch with superstars.

However, one may be surprised by who he selected as best player he's ever played with at the German record champions

“I thought Franck Ribéry was very spectacular, both in terms of what he could do and his mentality," Kimmich told BILD.

"Talent-wise, it was Thiago, he can do everything. But if I consider the whole package, it's David Alaba. He had it all.

"Player, person, mentality – besides his importance and reliability on the pitch, he was also very important in the dressing room.

“He is someone who got along with everyone, integrated everyone, helped everyone. I'll take David,” the 30-year-old said.

Kimmich played over 215 matches across all competitions with the versatile Austrian, winning 169 of them together.
