Jeanuel Belocian has been included in Bayer Leverkusen's Champions League squad as a replacement for Exequiel Palacios.

The 20-year-old Frenchman was initially left out of the squad, but has now been added following Palacios’ long-term injury.

Belocian played eight games for Leverkusen last season before suffering a cruciate ligament tear.

The young defender has since worked his way back from the injury, but has yet to make an appearance this season.

Leverkusen begin their Champions League campaign with an away game against FC Copenhagen on Thursday.
