Karlsruhe shot-stopper Weiß courted by Burnley, Wolfsburg interested

Karlsruhe's young goalkeeper could be set for a move to England.

Max Weiß has been linked with a move to newly promoted Premier League side Burnley, according to Kicker's latest report.

The English club are keen to make the Karlsruhe shot-stopper their second choice goalkeeper next season.

However, it is also rumoured that VfL Wolfsburg are interested in the 21-year-old and could be tempted into making an offer.

However it must be noted that with Kamil Grbara, Marius Müller and Pavao Pervan, the Lower Saxons are well resourced in that area.

Karlsruhe, for whom Weiß played a part in 34 games last campaign, are asking for around €5million for the German.
