Manchester United have reportedly intensified their pursuit of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško.

According to Kicker, United have submitted an initial offer for the Slovenian marksman.

While the exact figure is unclear, the bid is believed to be “in a similar range” to Newcastle United’s proposal.

The Magpies are said to be offering €75 million, plus an additional €5 million in performance-related bonuses.

With the two Premier League sides locked in a bidding war, Šeško now faces a difficult decision about where he wants to continue his career.

The 22-year-old joined Leipzig from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2023.
