FC Schalke 04 can once again count on their captain Kenan Karaman for this weekend's home game against Preußen Münster.

Karaman is supposedly poised to return to the starting lineup after recovering from muscular problems which hampered him in recent weeks.

“Kenan Karaman will lead the team onto the pitch as captain on Sunday," head coach Miron Muslic revealed in his press conference today.

On the other side of things, Edin Džeko has made “good progress” but still continues to work on his comeback from injury.

Schalke, who enter the match against the bottom-placed team Münster, must avoid complacency in so far as Muslic is concerned.

"We don't need to do anything extra, we don't need to lose our structure. They no longer play a 4-4-2 diamond formation, but a 5-3-2," he said.

"We mustn't lose our heads, we mustn't get carried away – then we'll manage it," he added, highlighting patience as a crucial factor.
