Ridle Baku expresses interest in leaving Wolfsburg

Ridle Baku has admitted he's thinking about leaving VfL Wolfsburg.
Ridle Baku has refused to commit his long-term future to VfL Wolfsburg, admitting he's keen on a move abroad.

"You never know what will happen. I'm not a fan of making promises. If someone comes in the summer and puts an immoral fee on the table, then you think about it and deal with it," Baku, whose under contract until 2025, told Bild.

"I've been playing here in the Bundesliga for a long time. That's when you start thinking about where you might want to play in the future. I'm open to that. Going abroad is an option for me," he added.

"The Premier League is always on my mind. Perhaps Spain or Italy. Those are leagues where you could imagine playing."

Wolfsburg paid €10 million to sign the wide man from Mainz in 2020.
