Sky's German outfit claims that RB Leipzig sporting CEO Oliver Mintzlaff's hard line on Konrad Laimer takes on concrete figures. The Saxon club chief executive--wary of strengthening his league rivals for the second consecutive summer--wants €30 million for the Austrian midfielder. The administrator has also set a hard deadline of July 30th for this demand to be met.

Sky reports that Bayern's latest offer comes in well short of this mark. German tabloid Sport Bild had previously reported that the Bavarians had tendered a €20 million offer, though German footballing magazine Kicker denies that this took place. The tabloid has also claimed that the 25-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the FCB and is keen to move.

Head-coach Julian Nagelsmann, RB squad captain Marcel Sabitzer, and top defender Dayot Upamecano all moved from Leipzig to Bayern last offseason. Laimer is entering the final year of his contract, meaning that Mintzlaff could still be somewhat flexible in an effort not to lose the player on a free.
