Report: Flick has ruled out using Kimmich at right-back at the World Cup

Bild claims there is no possibility of Joshua Kimmich playing right-back for Germany at the World Cup.
Germany coach Hansi Flick is not considering using Joshua Kimmich at the right-back position during the World Cup, according to Bild.

Despite Germany's struggles at the position in recent years, Flick has completely ruled out the possibility of switching Kimmich from central midfield to right back, per the German tabloid.

Thilo Kehrer is currently seen as the top candidate to start at right-back for Germany, with Jonas Hofmann, Lukas Klostermann and Niklas Süle also capable of playing there.

Kimmich was used at right-back in his first seasons at Bayern before moving to his natural position in central midfield.
