Official: Dawid Kownacki's loan deal with Fortuna Düsseldorf made permanent

Dawid Kownacki has completed a permanent move to Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Fortuna Düsseldorf striker Dawid Kownacki's loan move from AS Sampdoria has been made permanent.

The Bundesliga club have announced that Kownacki's purchase option has been triggered after his fourth appearance this season. The Polish international's permanent deal with Fortuna now runs until 2023.

Kownacki, 22, spent the second half of the 2018/19 campaign on loan at Esprit Arena and re-joined the club on a new loan deal ahead of this season.
