Jahmai Simpson-Pusey’s loan move from Manchester City to 1. FC Köln is set to be made permanent.

Köln held an €8 million option to buy the defender, but have managed to negotiate the fee down to €5 million with Manchester City, according to Sky Germany.

Simpson-Pusey, who joined Köln on loan in January, will sign a contract running until 2030 with the Bundesliga club.

Earlier on Monday, Kicker reported that Köln’s talks to sign the 20-year-old were nearing completion.

He has made 11 appearances for Köln so far.
