Miroslav Klose has revealed he would like to take on a coaching job in the German Bundesliga or the Italian Serie A in the future.

"My goal is to become a coach in the Bundesliga, the Serie A or in another top league. We'll see if the opportunity arises one day," the former German international told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Klose is in no rush, though, and is pleased with his current position as coach of Bayern München's under-17 side.

"I'm convinced that you have to train young players in order to understand this job. Even as a player, you start from there and work your way to the top," he explained.

The 41-year-old is the most scoring player for the German national team of all time, having netted 71 times in 137 appearances for 'Die Mannschaft' between 2001 and 2014.
