José Mourinho: Joshua Kimmich is one of the best players in the world
Joshua Kimmich is 'phenomenal' and among the world's best players, according to José Mourinho.
José Mourinho has waxed lyrical about Joshua Kimmich ahead of Bayern München's Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday.
In an interview with DAZN, the Tottenham manager praises the versatility of the Bayern star, whom he sees as one of the best players in the world.
"I see a great full-back, centre-back, number six, number eight and number 10. He has all the qualities a coach wants to see and have," said Mourinho and continued:
"Looking at him from a distance, I sense he has great footballing intelligence, he understands the game and the demands of different positions. He is an absolutely phenomenal player, one of the best in the world."
Kimmich, 25, has played for Bayern since 2015 and is under contract until 2023.
